Problem: User has a computer that was formerly used as a jobsite laptop. Job has ended and user has brought it with them, however they cannot log in with their credentials. Computer reports that it is not part of the domain, despite confirming it is added and in the correct OU.
Solution: While logged in, open up a command prompt line and run the following:
runas /user:USEREMAILHERE /profile /env cmd.exe
This will create a cache of the user account and allow it to access the domain.
Problem: User has a large PDF file they're attempting to open in Bluebeam. File freezes out, or tells them that another user is in it when they are not. This can happen when the file itself gets corrupted, and large files (400+ MB files) can have this issue.
Solution: Import the file to a different PDF viewer, then create a new save that is uncorrupted. Confirm now opens in Bluebeam then overwrite the invalid one.
Problem: User, while remote, cannot access the I:Drive. States them to enter the username/password for the I:Drive. Confirmed that their GP is set up correctly but the issue remains.
Solution: Have the user do Ctrl+Alt+Del and Lock the computer. Then unlock it. This should trigger the user to have to re-enter their login information. If that doesn't work, do a full reset of the computer.
Problem: User is trying to send through their timecard on HeavyJob but when they go to send it, the 1 at the bottom appears and disappears. No error codes.
Solution: Check what speed user currently has on their iPad. If they have less than 5 Mbps, it is likely the cause.
Problem: Aver soundbar is showing video but no audio. Windows is not even seeing a microphone connected.
Solution: After confirming it's not a reboot solution issue, right click the speaker in bottom right and go to Sounds. Confirm that under 'Recording', at least the Stereo Mix card is active. If not then the soundcard has gone bad.
Problem: Found a keyfob and want to search for the user
Solution: Refine Results - Then "Hot Stamp" the ID # of the keyfob. Searching from the main search bar doesn't give the needed results.
